TERMS & CONDITIONS

SESSION FEES

This secures your booking, covers the time spent planning & setting up your session and covers the cost of any supplies needed. They are non-refundable payments but can be transferred (one time only) with 48 hours notice prior to your session start time. Products & digital files are an additional charge and can be purchased after your session once you have seen your images.

Sessions are held for 48 hours, if the retainer fee is not paid within this timeframe the session will be open for others to book and you could lose your session space.

SESSION INFORMATION & DETAILS

As I offer a personalised service, I will ask you if there are any specific requirements you would like ahead of your session. It is the clients responsibility to ensure I am informed of any requirements for the session. Unfortunately I might not be able to accommodate last minute requests so please let me know your ideas ahead of time (approx. 2-4 weeks prior to your session with me) If any last minute changes are requested for your session I will do my best to accommodate them but this isn't always possible if advanced notice isn't given.

Please arrive promptly for your session. Should there be any delays in your arrival do let me know so I can advise you accordingly. If you are going to be 15+ minutes late this could result in your session being cancelled and another session would need to be booked and a new retainer fee will be required.

I aim to edit all sessions within 2 weeks. However should there be a need to extend this period due to illness or extremely busy periods I will let you know immediately.

PAYMENT PLANS

You can spread your final order total over a 3 month period, interest free for orders over £695. The first £295 must be paid in advance to set up your payment plan. The remaining balance of your order total will be split into 3 equal payments and must be paid before 28th of each month. Failure to pay the balance each month or within the 3 months period will result in your order being cancelled and a refund on any monies paid will be returned to you (minus a £95 fee to cover admin charges)

No products will be ordered and no images will be released until full payment is received. Printed products require a 4 week turn around time, this countdown starts on the date full payment is received. Products are to be collected, I can deliver them to your door within a 5 mile radius or you can pay for postage.

IMAGES & ONLINE GALLERY

Downloading any images will only be available once full payment for your collection is received. You are not permitted to screenshot, use or share any images from your gallery that you have not paid for - this is theft, copyright infringement and legal action will be taken. All gallery images will be watermarked.

Your gallery will be kept online for a maximum of 7 days, after this time period your gallery will be removed. To re-instate your gallery, there will be a website & admin upload charge of £35.

POSING

Safety of babies & children is my top priority while they are in my studio. Some poses risk a danger to newborn babies, if any of these poses are requested I will explain why I will be unable to carry out that specific pose.

PETS

Please ensure your pet is fully trained before entering my studio. I must be notified in advance of your session if you intend to bring a pet (minimum of 1 week's notice is required).

You are responsible for your pet within the studio at all times, and they must not be left unsupervised. I reserve the right to cancel the session should your pet be aggressive or unruly within my studio.

PRINTING

For the best results, you will need to use my printing services. As part of this service I provide a full quality check of all images before they sent to the printers to ensure there are no missed marks, blemishes, stray hairs/fluff, no colour banding issues etc and that the image is sized perfectly for the product ordered. All my images are also full calibrated to produce the highest possible quality coloured prints & products that are guaranteed to last a lifetime. They will not fade or turn yellow.

Should you decide to do your own printing or product ordering by using a third-party service, I will not take any responsibility for any missed marks, blemishes, stray hairs/fluff or colour banding issues that have gone unnoticed. I will also not be held responsible for any bad photo positioning/cropping, poor quality colour prints, badly produced products or products that fade or turn yellow.

No refunds, re-edits or re-shoots will be given if you choose to take your images elsewhere to be printed, and they don't print as you expect/want.

PRODUCTS

Once full payment is received for your order, please allow a 4-week turn around time. You can then collect your products from me or if you live within a 5-mile radius I will deliver them straight to your door.

RAW FILES

RAW files are not included and are not provided under any circumstances.

EXTRA CHARGES

Background changes - £45 per image

Photo re-edits - £85 per image

CANCELLATIONS

If a cancellation is required please contact me, directly on 07845 957035.

48 hours before your session: I can reschedule your session for another date (subject to availability) at no extra cost for one session reschedule only. If a 2nd rescheduling of the same session is requested, you will lose your original session fee and need to pay a new one.

Less than 48 hours notice before your session: A new session fee will need to be paid to re-book.

In the unfortunate event I should need to cancel your session due to illness or any incidents beyond my control, I will let you know immediately. You can either have a full refund of any monies paid towards your booked session, or I can reschedule.

REFUNDS

No refunds will be given for dissatisfaction with your images. Example images of my work can be seen on my Facebook, Instagram & Website. It is your responsibility to check or ask to see more of my work so you can check the images I produce are the type of images that suit your taste & requirements.

I will only make minor adjustments to any edited photos, i.e. missed blemishes, marks or backdrop creases. Whole photo re-edits are £85 per image.

Re-shoots, discounts or refunds will not be given if you are unhappy with the of setup/backdrop/props, lack of cooperation from participants, poses, you or your participants' appearance(s) including clothing, hairstyle, makeup, bruises/scratches, facial expressions etc or if you have forgotten to bring/give me something to be included in the photos i.e. scan photo/family heirloom.

I do not give discounts, refunds or free re-shoots due to arriving late/missing your session or due to lack of subject cooperation from clients during the session (i.e a non smiler, a grumpy partner, upset or crying baby/toddler, one child is looking, but the other is not, one child is smiling but the other 2 are not etc).

ORDERING APPOINTMENTS

With every session, you will be booked in for an ordering appointment to come back to my studio so I can help you through the product ordering process and get your beautiful images ordered for you. However, should you require the digital only collection option let me know as this can all be completed without you having to leave your home.

Due to my services being in such high demand, only one ordering appointment is issued per session and any products must be ordered & paid for at this appointment.

As my ordering appointments are in high demand, any appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (or you do not turn up) there will be a £95 fee to rebook the appointment and to view your images.

INJURIES & DAMAGES

I am not responsible for any injuries inflicted on any participating parties while in my studio. Injuries include, but are not limited to, bug bites, injury from any trips or fall, injury from props, and/or any allergic reactions to materials, foliage or animals while on-site at the session. No claims will be brought or made against me or Yellow Blossom Photography.

Parents & guardians are responsible for themselves and all participants they bring to the session. Children & pets are not permitted to be left alone, to play with any of the props or equipment while being in the studio and must be fully supervised at all times. 

Extreme care is to be taken within the studio and the entire building at all times. Any damages made to props, equipment, the studio or building will be charged to you for replacement/repair.

COPYRIGHT

All images remain copyright of Yellow Blossom Photography and are not to be edited or altered. You are also not permitted to use any photos for business use, to sell them or to use them unlawfully.

I reserve the rights to use any images taken for promotional use on social media, online or on printed promotional material unless you have informed otherwise prior to your session. Please inform me before your session if you do not want images to be online, I will then make sure this is noted on your file, so all photos are kept private.
