How Long Until We Receive Our Photos?

After a beautiful photography session, most families can’t wait to see their images — and I completely understand! At Yellow Blossom Photography in Haverhill, Suffolk, I work hard to edit and prepare your gallery quickly, while ensuring every image meets my high professional standards. Here’s what you can expect for turnaround times, plus a few tips to help speed up the process.



Standard Turnaround Time

For most sessions — whether maternity, newborn, or family — you’ll receive your online viewing gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session date.

This allows time to:

  • Select & cull the very best images from your session.
  • Hand-edit each chosen image to correct colours, adjust lighting, and retouch where needed.
  • Prepare your gallery so it’s easy to view, download, and order products from.



Newborn & Milestone Sessions

For newborn sessions, I take extra care with editing to ensure skin tones look natural and soft. These sessions may take closer to the full 3-week window, as there are often more images to sort and perfect.



Large Events

If you’ve booked me for a larger event or multiple-hour coverage, I’ll give you a personalised delivery timeframe, usually 3-4 weeks depending on the scale of the shoot.



Can I See a Sneak Peek?

Absolutely! Where possible, I’ll can post or send you a sneak peek of your session so you have something to enjoy while you wait for your full gallery. These are perfect for sharing with family and friends. Just ask!



How You’ll Receive Your Photos

  • Secure online gallery – View, download any purchased images, and share your favourites with ease.
  • Print & product ordering – You can order prints, wall art, albums, and keepsakes directly with me.
  • Optional in-person viewing – If you’d like help choosing prints, or designing your wall art and discussing options we can arrange a design session in my Haverhill studio.



Rush Delivery

If you need your images urgently (for a gift, announcement, or event), let me know at the time of booking. Rush editing is sometimes available for an additional fee, depending on my schedule.
